Renico Plant Hire

Established in 1998, when Nico Louw purchased a well used 1989 CASE 580K (TLB) machine, Renico Plant Hire has grown into one of the leading plant hire companies in the country.

Operating from its premises in Honeydew on the West Rand, today Renico Plant Hire (Pty) Ltd has a fleet of over 300 well maintained pieces of equipment made up of TLBs, excavators, wheel loaders, skidsteers , telehandlers, graders, water carts, rollers and numerous trucks of different capacity.  Our extensive truck fleet is made up of Mercedes-Benz, Fuso and MAN units, with low beds to move all the equipment around. Coupled with the heavy duty earth moving equipment is their quarrying and scalpers.

From the beginning our dedicated staff, led from the front by Nico, have taken the core values of the company seriously, putting service to the customer above all else, paying fanatical attention to detail and exhibiting an excellent work ethic, which has built a company that has grown in both size and reputation.

Our Team

The Renico Plant Hire Team consists of over 350 permanent staff, made up of management and administrative staff, qualified mechanics, supervisors, and most importantly, competent drivers and operators, several of whom have been with the company since it’s inception.

Our operators and drivers undergo regular medical tests, along with training in safety and equipment handling where necessary and all have competency certificates for the equipment they use. Opportunities exist for advancement to those showing the necessary skills and work ethic.
